Computer Freezes For A Minute Then Resumes

For example Im editing an HTML file in my SSH shell using vi and the screen freezes for about 5 seconds then it continues with whatever I.

Computer freezes for a minute then resumes. Press Ctrl A to select all files right-click then click DeleteTo clean up more files that could be taking up too much. If Im typing a word in MSWord for example the word cant be finished until these few seconds pass. Then it resumes again.

It freezes for like 5-6 seconds and then just resumes normal operation. Obviously I only notice this when I am using the computer and I am usually doing things in Chrome but it doesnt seem to be related to any particular websites. If I then relaunch the game without restarting my machine or launcher they will return.
